Thread: Remington 788

I wasn't expecting much as I have a couple of pretty accurate Tikka's and a Rem 700 that shot pretty good also. I got it suppressed and the Gunsmith did pass a comment that the model shoot very well in general but I didn't really take it on board.
This group was with 150 gr Fiocchi factory soft point ammo, 100 mtrs just shooting over a pack.
I think it was 11 mm from memory and that's 4 shots , 40 year old rifle that totally surprised me.
God know's what it would do with a decent rest, trigger job and a better shooter with hand loads.
