    Remington 870/1100 /1187 owners

Hi all. If anyone has one of the above shotguns, could you do me a huge favour and take a couple of measurements of the extractor it so I can make a 3d model? Name: images - 2025-01-09T161615.555.jpeg

Even just a couple of overal dimensions would probably allow me to scale it from there.

Sure thing, is there any other bits from the action you want measured while I’m in there ?

I have a parts one here so can pull anything for measurements.

They are not the same !
The 870 and 1100 could be but the 11-87 were beefed up.
Funny thing is while Big Green were using up parts or trying to stay afloat they sold 11-87 with the smaller 870 extractor and that was the only thing that stopped my gun in thousands of rounds.
From memory the part only cost around $20 but i needed a gunsmith to open up the bolt

Correct, the later 1100s, 870, and 11-87 are thicker than the earlier 1100s, I think it's like 3.1mm vs 3.9mm or something. However, they have the same 2d dimensions.

I have actually acquired an extractor and have made a 3d model now. Will see how much it's going to cost to make 10 or so.
