Stay away from the 710, they are no where near as good as a 700.

Model 710. Budget piece of crap rifle. Didn't think they were still made?

Might come in handy as a replacement tomato stake when the 303 finally rusts away.

They are hunks of crap falconhell. The 'large' outdoors store I worked at in Canada stopped stocking the predecessor: model 770 (= bigger piece of shite) due to almost all of the coming back with issues. They do not even compare to the model 700's.

If you are wanting a budget rifle go and get a TC venture or Howa 1500, at least they fuction correctly and are normally very accurate. Or just get another Rem 700.

If you like the rem 700 you own, get another one. If it fits you well, and you enjoy shooting it I don't see why not. Its still the one of the most popular rifle models in the world. And if you want to upgrade it, there are a rediculous amount of aftermarket parts and accessories for the Rem 700.
