I have a carbon senator stock here that has been hydrodipped in a camo pattern. Its seen some massive miles and held up extremely well but now would like to remove the hydrodipping and restore it to a gloss look carbon stock.
Anyone done it before? Suggestions on the best approach?
I'm thinking chemicals might react with the epoxy and
I saw a video on YouTube where they heated it up and scraped it off but unsure if the epoxy on the carbon can withstand enough heat to do this?

Ceracoat clean up their rifle stocks with a mild blasting process prior to Ceracoating them. They may be able to clean it up for you, message Double Shot
Have you tried something like eucalyptus oil?
I don't know if it will work or not on the hydrodip however eucalyptus oil is excellent for removing dried up masking tape from things like aircraft canopies where you can't use chemicals. Citronella oil is another possibility too.
Worth a try.
I’d be patch testing acetone. Shouldn’t react with the epoxy and be enough to remove the paint
