Thread: Replacement ( a BETTER ) 940nm IR torch required

Anyone delved into NV and torches / lamps / laser IR illumination?

Went out first time last night with an add-on unit - went well except for the bloody awful torch that was supplied...
Im aware that 850nm provides a better illumination over the 940nm - though the quality of torch I have - lets say I had to hold the variable focus lens in place, to prevent the reflector / focus from drooping out of line of view - so loose!! I've seen the exact same unit on Ali Express for $20...
