    I figure it's all about weight and looks.... Have changed mine to a boyds, and the 308 is currently ia dpt chassis (saves any issues with bedding and looks bloody good). He factory plastic I don't like the feel of and are bloody noisy if you knock then on something

    depends who you buy them off,for me, i have 2 stug stocks, they are not the prettiest cf stocks to look at (sorry stug) but they are light and they
    come bedded. also cheaper than other cf stocks that may look better but they aren't bedded. weight and accuracy delt to in one, that's why i have
    mine, the weight difference is heaps.

    So accuracy improved measurably?
