Being the simple man I am, I simply don't believe the smoke and mirrors bullshit from Beretta NZ about our dollar falling against the US, and using that to justify a price rise or two.
Last time I looked Sakos and Tikka's are made in Finland, which uses the Euro, and we've tracked well against that, when you look at the the cross rate graph Euro vs NZD for the last five years.

Totally agree with you mate and thats why I said about the price think at the time. Wasn't surprised to Not get an answer...

My 2c worth i use to be in wholesale back in South Africa we did Savage Nosler Wheeler products etc. i was very familiar with the opposition prices. i knew the wholesale prices and the retail pricing of most shooting products.
My experience over the last year was a jaw dropper. Stuff in New Zealand is overall more expensive. i can tell you that the Baretta products are cheaper in comparison.

stuff like berger ,night force ,reloading powder , nosler Hornady is very expensive ...
i came to the conclusion that it starts with the importer that wants to be n millionaire on every product he sells to the retailer. Saying that that is about in every industry in NZ
Maybe that is how its so pose to be anyway they making good profits.
