Retail options for modern left handed rifle

    Hello all,
Looking for some pointers on what left handed rifles are available off the shelf here in NZ please.

So far I've seen a few Sako, Tikka, Begara and Browning all in more traditional calibres. I've got a few months of shopping time up my sleeve while I get my licence sorted so hoping to find a supplier of a modern style (carbon stock &/or barrel) and potentially modern calibre as well (6.5 CM or PRC).

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

I saw a guy at the range with a left handed Benelli Lupo... liked like potentially a nice option, could add that to your list, pretty sure it was 6.5CM...

...though having a quick look on website (Beretta NZ), not sure they offer LH off the shelf...

    Blaser.
    Simple to change.
And you don't have to do a complete change over. Can use a right hand bolt with a left hand bolt carrier.

Have you looked at the Baretta BRX-1? The bolt can be swapped between a left and right.

    I saw a demo 1 in .308 listed for $2100.

Also there's a couple of LH rifles on TM at the moment. 6.5-06 AI with a True-flite barrel might fit the bill (depending on barrel twist) if you are ok with reloading? Swap stock for a nice carbon one?

I'm just starting out so am still a ways off reloading, thanks though.

I saw a 110 Ultralite in 6.5 PRC on deltamike about 30min after my OP! So there's some potential here for sure.

The plus of the ultralight is you can get a heavier scope and it doesn't matter so much
