Personally I’m with Ebf.

Using another persons poor behaviour to justify your own is immature and stupid. His behaviour was appalling and it has not been a one off, he has been banned from forums because there of his conduct, he is not the kind of guy I would want to be some kind of self appointed representative of me.

I think he will do more harm than good and divide the shooting community.

I'd not put much stock on forum bans. What qualification does it take to be a forum mod? No offense intended.

Division in the shooting community is not helped much by sentiments "like my shooters rights organisation is better than yours", and personal dislikes are just personal dislikes, no more than that... until we throw fellow shooters under the bus because we dislike them.

RL is no more of a dick than most lawyers, and lawyers are over-represented among politicians. This is not a popularity contest, just about equal treatment.
