Also taken multiple photo's of my guns AND my security, and emailed to myself, along with serial numbers, description of scopes etc etc. That way even if my camera/laptop get nicked as well, I've got all the info to give to the cops.

With my insurer (who is almost everyones insurer now) rifles are sporting goods and are depreciated as such. Market value less excess does not leave much behind.
My recent Geovids were classed sporting goods when I dropped them. If I had been pissed at the horses, watching for Itchy Mick in the second, it may have been another story.
