    So what did you get it recoated with???

    Have an early 85 finnlight with the soft touch stock that went sticky all over. Thought it was sweat from my hands initally..washing it made no differece...

    It got more sticky as time went on. Stripped the coating off a while back. Have owned 2 that have had this problem. The last one Beretta actually replaced the stock for me...So it is obviously something there definitly aware of..

    Mates beretta shotgun grips did the same,tacky and falling apart,only gets used about 10 times a year.
