Thread: Ring inserts

Good man, after I read that I got a spare set of Optiloks out of a draw and looked, never bloody noticed the concave insides before.I guees the Burris are the same but they are on a rifle so don't want to mess with it.

Reason I asked was because the Burris are medium and I have an ordinary pair of low steel leupolds here I'd rathe have on the 308 and thought maybe I could use the inserts from the Burris.
Guess I'll just leave well enough alone eh.

Yeah, I wish Burris would make low 1" Zee Sigs, but I guess they need the metal for the mount to be secure.
I prefer the Burris 2 piece plastic inserts, the Sako ones have the tendency to change form one peice to 2 piece when taking them off.
As on my .270!
