    Which rings for tikka & vx5 2-10

    Hi everyone.

Need some advice on which rings to get for my Tikka T3 308, mounting a VX5 2-10x42 30mm tube.
    Anyone got the same setup?

I’ve had Talleys in the past and quite liked them. If I were to go talleys again, could someone advise if talley lows would work?

    Cheers

    I run vx5 3-15 x 44 and found Talley Ex-Low perfect.

What I usually do to check is to look at the specs Talley gives on their website, there will be a measurement for each height/diameter that is receiver to bottom of scope tube. Take that measurement and cut a piece of cardboard or something similar and use it where the corresponding ring would sit, be sure you are consistent if taking front ring height and place where front ring would be as not all receivers are machined flat. That should tell you how it will look in the rings and how much clearance you have. Extra lows are .410″ so see if that will work.
