    Ron spoomer outdoors podcast

Not a bad listen for those that are interested in rifles and ballistics. American but not your usual ar15 full auto cheese grater gun guy. Likes lightweight 284w so similar thoughts to NZ style hunting

Joseph Von Benedict of Backcountry Hunting podcast covers similar topics and seems to know what he's talking about if you're after more material to listen too

Personally I think he’s a bit of an old “ Fuddy Duddy “

He has some good observations, but its like being talked to by your Headmaster.

Or the nutjob who runs a shooting school teaching headshots on people @200y in 'self defence'.

Like most old fuddy duddies, he got his knowledge on the ground, not on the Internet.

You'll note in my post that you quoted that I didn't discount the info ...... just the way that it's delivered .

I agree with all the posts above. He does know his stuff and its relevant to hunting, he is a bit school headmaster like, but a whole lot better than most Americans on you tube who are all about killing other people...

    yes I like him,
don't always agree with him but its a change from ar15 or ar10 for everything or the ultra long range stuff thats not me either.
Also like that he dose not push the latest cal on the market and dose not suggest that you need a cannon for a whate tail.
However for laughs I will admit I also sometimes watch Kentucky Ballistics.
