Thread: Rossi 92.. cartridge guide

Evening all.

I’m trying to locate some new .44mag cartridge guides for my Rossi. Bubba before me has filed them incorrectly rendering the gun finger feed single shot. Before I take a lot of time to reverse engineer them I was wanting to know if anyone in NZ sells replacement parts for Rossi’s

why would old bubba file them in the first place?
cant get a little tig weld on there and do some careful handfitting of your own until it works like it should? Even make up some temporary shims from shim material or even paper to prove the point?

It’s not pushing the rim up high/level enough for the bolt/ejector to push it forward. So failing to feed due to overly relaxed guide rails. I can see they have filed/blended it the wrong way.

There is a Rossi importer, I am away from my computer, but pm me and I'll get the details to you.
He won't sell directly but depends on your location for pickup, somethings are just sport shop pkups.

I removed the guides. And I did some welding/filling and filing and got it to run smooth as butter. But thank you for the offer.

I basically cut new guides into them.
