Rough but ready - Truck gun

Here is my latest in a long line of "fencers truck guns". A very well used Tikka action (it was a loaner 223 at a range, it was well worn out) that now sports a brand new 13" trueflight barrel in 300 Blk, The barrel was the off cut from another job a mate did. Suppressor is a old DPT, scope an ancient Leupy 2-7x33. All up cost = less than $1000.

Can't wait to shoot it (with a heap of ammo in several flavours I got given, like a mug I gave half it away to another mate) so it will be a bit of a "pig in a poke" as to whether it likes the ammo i have, I can't reload for it just now.

Late on when I can reload I'd love to try it as a 30 Herrett or 30 ARX (30 Grendel)

    That’s a sweet looking rig!

    Wasn’t @phillipo running a 30 ARX?

Did you take the end off the stock with your chainsaw @Tentman?

@Gibo - I never thought of epoxy, I can do that myself, just need to find the tube of graphite to dye it black
@Joe_90 - hehe, I opened the tool bin and considered the chainsaw, but then took a reality check and grabbed the battery skilly instead! @Seventenths - you have a bloody good memory, but someone beat you to it and I've already talked to him, apparently Scott Trail has the reamer.

Probly the Belmont 125's as long as they shoot within minute of deer or hopefully better, its a really nice barrel, and the other end shot magnificently.

I thought I'd be fancy and use a table saw when I docked the howa 300blk stock. Kept the tip to glue on and tidy it up.
I've been mucking around with reloading the 150gr cast hollow points Robert makes up north. Haven't got a load finale for it as yet.
