With the .303 in any rifle there is a problem with the bore dimensions best bullets to use are cast or custom made to fit the bore and throat of each rifle
the standard chamber reamers are made for 215 grain RN and 174 grain fmj's that's why the accuracy is crap with 150 grain bullets in old guns
the Ruger has the standard chamber spec's so accuracy could be hit or miss I do wish I had one all the same and a 7x57
