Beg to differ on that. My one was shortened when I got it and I was warned that it did not like light 150gr pills. So first thing I tried was the 150gr highland. three shots touching at 100m. tried it at 300m and got a group UNDER 2 inches. Even my Varmint rifle struggles with that. SO I did what anyne would do, I followed his advice and tried the 215gr Woodleigh round nose. Hits things like a dammed hammer. Every animal I have aimed at has gone FLOP. not run, not jumped and not moved. Just dropped. One of them had even run off after taking 3x 7mmo8 hits and each should have dropped it.

I did not jump in earlier for 2 reasons; 1) mine is not for sale, and 2) If it was I already have four mates begging to buy it.

I do know of a 375 H&H magnum Ruger #1 that the owner is thinking of letting go. It is mid 70s manufacture, has seen some sights and places and is currently treasure by its owner, but at $140 per 20 rounds, he is having trouble feeding it as much as he would like.....
