Ruger 10/22 takedown - any good?

    Considering another take down 22.
Being probably the only person on the planet with zero 10/22 experience, are the Ruger takedowns worth having ? How's the accuracy etc ?
I want something with a rail so the papoose is out and have one of those anyway.

    Thoughts ?

I believe the old browning takedown was held in high reguard and the norinco copy is quite good too at fraction of the price.

had all 4 gevarm hard to scope but reliable / norinco very good with good trigger accurate need mount for barrel tube mag pia / browning same as norc but superbly made and its a browning what more can I say / Ruger well it works its accurate same take down as browning , just read manual and set barrel real tite same for browning and norc scope mounts on receiver/ bad but before shooting work bolt 5 times as per manual and bang but on ground 3 times to set barrel my 3 all shot 1 inch at 50 plus you got cheap mags triggers etc . I f you gonna shoot heaps go ruger gevarm mags $80 plus if casual carry go norc if you can get mount . any more questions just ask me .

Thanks for the input guys , but after talking to a few people today about the ruger takedowns I have gone off that idea and had a slight change of plans... I know I said not another papoose but I found another papoose today in virtually brand new condition and couldn't help myself !!
Love those wee rifles and I know they are very accurate even after being taken apart and put back together hundreds of times . I also found a dovetail to picatiny adapter so will try that on my old papoose and see how that works out .
    Again thanks for the input.
