Thread: Ruger 10/22 - whats the best stock out there?

I'm in the market for a new 10/22 stock, so I can use a .920" carbon tension barrel I picked up.

The little ruger is currently sporting a hogue stock. While nice to hold, it is not very rigid, so caused differing pressure on the barrel when shooting offhand vs off a fence post or bipod.

Has anyone managed to get their hands on one of these?

It seems to tick a lot of boxes, including securing the action both front and rear, which has always been a problem with the 10/22.
