    Ruger 77 Mk II Questions

    Got my eye on a long action Ruger 77 Mk II

    Couple of questions for folks familiar with these.

    What is the magazine length (drop floorplate) on these like compared to Remmys and Tikkas ?

    How easy is it to enlarge the bolt face on these from 470 to magnum boltface ? Is there enough meat there to do this safely ?
