    Ruger American Rifle Generation II

    Merry Christmas from Ruger.

    Some interesting calibres and barrel lengths available. Wonder if we might get the Ranch 16” options in 6mm ARC and 6.5Cr here. Due for release Q1 2024.

    I'd like one in 223. I like a tang safety. For me it ticks all the boxes as long as accuracy is there.

    Quite a few people online seem pessimistic that the aggressive fluting is going to mess with accuracy as it warms up.

    But for a hunting rifle it looks pretty sweet.

    nope not fluted..hammer forged and left as it ends up is my understanding of the outer spirals....

    They all are nothing 1/2 hour watching TV with the bolt coated in autosol metal polish wont fix, open close open close clean action and bolt then repeat if necessary

    helps get rid of that zip sound when opening the action aswell

    Gen 1 with a hardy 6 ARC barrel. Tac driver!
    Just need to upgrade the trigger as the factory one is poos
