    #0000 grade steel wool + CRC (or WD-40, rem oil, whatever really) + elbow grease. Abrasive enough to remove rust but won't damage the finish. $15 will get you a life time supply of it at ehayes.

    +1 on what Toby said about the green kitchen scrubbers. Learnt that the hard way too.

    DO NOT USE the Scotch Brite Pads, they WILL take your Bluing Off.

    Use 0000 Steel Wool.
