Thread: Rust - What am I doing wrong?

Hi Guys,

I need a hand, starting to get pissed of with my rifle....... Every time I check on it in the safe its developed some light surface rust in/on the action. The barrel is sweet, no issue there.

Its a Tikka T3 Varmint. I clean it after every use and drench it in Inox after cleaning but it still develops light surface rust. The safe has damprid in it so that should be drawing out all of the moisture..........

The safe is in the garage so its colder than the rest of the house but that shouldn't be to much of an issue should it?

What am I doing wrong? Any advice appreciated.
