I know he gets a bad wrap online, but I got a real sharp price and fast turn around with Pete Lincoln/Roedale Precision.
At the time he was cheaper than any where else I could find, it was around 2009 so that may have changed.
Was anyone else blown away by how they come packaged from the factory?

In a white box with foam cutouts in side? Most scopes come like that.

Pete Lincoln also supplied me with a Schmidt at a very good price.

No, they just came with a single wrap of corrugated cardboard around the scope in the box on mine. I had expected lots of foam packing for such an expensive scope. Like I say, it was a little while ago now so hopefully that may have changed, or maybe euro optic add a little extra foam.

After something around 20x with a 30mm tube but it looks like they are all 35mm when you go up in power.

    34mm

What action are you mounting it on? Things start getting high with a rail and 34mm rings.

Same - but I got severely fucked over with waiting times and weird communication, for a supposedly in stock item

I then ordered a second one, in 2011, which I still have never heard back about

Love my Light Tac Premier. The service is first rate too
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
