I used a sandwich plate of 1mm steel between the 19 mm ply and the wall studs.
Did the same on the ceiling , then build a ply platform on top of the ceiling joists and stacked all sorts of crap on top to make it difficult to even access the top of the ceiling.
The steel was cover sheets from the local long-run iron factory and was fairly cheap , and also slightly high tensile. Im sure it wont stop a concerted burglar but it will slow him down and make shitloads of noise.

A strong room is the dream. I looked at it but decided to stick with my current solution. New shed, lined with glued and screwed 18mm ply, no windows, alarm, cameras, auto flood lights, bollards in roller door entrances , and some decent safes. Won’t stop someone coming to the door with a shotgun and asking for the keys to the safes, but neither will a strong room.
