I wonder if this guy changed barrels between hunting the bear and the capercallie. He could have done it all with the .3006 of course. I hope Sako extend the line up to a true varmint calibre, perhaps 22-250 like Blaser does. It would also be good to have a mon belted magnum like the 300PRC or 28 or 30 Nosler.

More seriously, for training it would be ideal to have at least a conversion kit to .223 or even .22LR. The tikka T1 is a good idea - matched pair to a centrfire. So is the TRG M10 with 308 to train for serious work with the 338 barrel. Sako do have a good multicalibre track record.

They look like a nice feature packed offering for the multi barrel segment. I'm hearing A$6500 - 7500 over here for pricing but nothing confirmed. Dreamer could be on the money.
Similar dollars to a Blaser R8 (model / options dependent). Blaser tubes has increased a lot in the last 10 years almost doubled. The RF option - barrel, bolt and magazine is now $2700. $2000 for a CF barrel and magazine. Sako won't do a T3 and launch at 70% of their competitor for this market.

Yep I know 110% that it is nowhere close. I have even messaged the owner to ensure no more mis info comes out of there.

Pricing is set to change but the initial pricing before an increase from factory and safety upgrade had the wood starting with a 7 and carbon with an 8. That’s all I can say

Himmm I don’t think this is really for NZ!
Unless your the kind of Hunter to carry around a torque wrench, looking on their website and:

'... 4. Lightly tighten the screws. 5. Slide the bolt back in place and close the bolt. 6. Tighten the screws to 7 Nm with the torque wrench.'

Looks too heavy for NZ. And usual Euro over engineered features. Looks like another European rifle for shooting roe deer from a tower with a big scope.

^Caliber change requires a whole new bolt. Bolt face is not interchangeable.
