Thread: Sako 75 bolt replacement

Hi. I've recently had my house broken into and my ammo box was stolen with the bolts inside.

From what I can gather the only way to replace it is to buy another 75 for the bolt and get it headspace checked. It's a .308 s/s floor plate version. Will any sako 75(iii) bolt fit in it or are there slight differences?

Can't bring myself to buy another new rifle as I like the 75 too much.

Any advice is much appreciated.

so buy another 75 in similar cartridge.... 243 or 22-250 maybe ??? and share bolt between both rifles if the headspace thing works out....
plurry theives should still be strung up.

Yep luckily all guns have been paid out at replacement value. The other rifles are possible for bolt replacements but not the sako. I see there's 2 75 708s on trademe at the moment.
