Thread: Sako 75 scope mounting options

Now that I've finished my long range build I thought my zeiss v6 would be the optimum scope for the job. It must however have quite a wide objective bell. I have optilocks and sako ringmounts (high) and the objective still hits the proof barrel with both. Only just... but enough. Are there any other options without going to a rail? I like to top load. Any help appreciated. The other option is to change to a 44mm objective such as this one.
