That’s a better place for the recoil screw in front of the back mount. I don’t know what the one was they put on the carbonlite but with a heavy scope that has at least twice the recoil force applied to it compared to a smaller hunting scope. LOC check my earlier post for what happened to the swaro ds scope. When the guy gets back from fiordland I will take a photo of the recoil screw that got fitted to stop the rail moving.
