    Question sako A7 270 standard barrel threading question ?

    hi guys,
    can anyone tell me if a Sako A7 270 standard length barrel will accept being threaded in 1/2 x 20 ?
    thanks for your time, I have been unable to contact any gunsmiths on this today.....not for a lack of trying

    I wouldn't, 14x1 or 15x1 be better fine thread that will be less prone to coming loose and will leave a bit more meat around the crown

    thanks @Ryan_Songhurst that's the information I needed, I wasn't sure if that would leave to little meat at the crown
