Thread: Sako AV

Hi All

Just bought a mint condition Sako AV .270.
Its been bedded at some stage and appears to be done quite nicely.
Only thing is the barrel is only just free floating, like a sheet of paper is firm at the fore end section on sliding through.
Is this something i should remedy? It shot like a shotgun with hornady whitetail 140gr ammo and about an inch at 100 with sako 140gr gamehead pro.
Leave it as is and be happy with that for a 40+ year old rifle or free float the barrel, will be used for general hunting 0-400 yards
