    Sako Carbonlight Recoil Lug

Took apart this Carbonlight .243 and expected to see a floating recoil lug assembly similar to my mates 7mmRM.
    Instead it is as pictured.
Can anyone with a Carbonlight S action (non-magnum) confirm this is normal or not?

I believe this is the newer model of the carbonlite, Beretta did away with the floating recoil lug and moved to this, I’ve had both and not noticed much of a difference but I think I prefer what you have for simplicity.
I may be wrong but it was possibly a modification to the non magnum calibres? My rem mag had floating, my 308 had the same as this. Both shot lights out…

Simular but using a recoil lug in the carbon stock both ways, shoot well, wooden stock has a steel bracket screwed in & bedded.
