Running the ejector at 6 o’clock was a huge design flaw from Sako imo. Yet I still have two so I’m obviously prepared to put up with it. Retrofitting a plunger ejector in the bolt face would likely cure the problem, but I haven’t heard of anyone offering that fix.
WSM’s in general are average for feeding, that’s not a problem exclusive to Sako.

And why anyone would own a .270 is beyond me anyway 😜

I’ve got a carbonlight in 260. Got it off Buzzman who got it off someone else so well travelled. Very very accurate with 147 eld ms. Ejects spent cases ok but not quite as well as my 75 7mm08. Weighs 7lb including a DPT, sako optilocks and 3.5-10 leoplud cds. Hard not to like that!

Shot .8 MOA today at 100 yds with same load as the other 85 I have. Good enough for me. Will run it through a chrony then make a new drop chart

Just as a side this is the third new firearm I’ve purchased from H&F since March 15. What a great local store to deal with.

It does 2700 fps with 147 eld ms and 44 grains 2209. Buzz’s load backed off 1/2 a grain. Not for sale yet fellas but Buzz gets first shot if I do sell it as he cut me a good deal when I bought it off him.

What’s wrong with the Finn 2? Looks pretty cool to me.
