Is the L579 short action bedding the same or similar to the A11 short action?

They're the same apart from a different cocking shroud. My old Sako 7mm/08 AII bought in 1988 had L579 Forester on the packing box label.

What 10-Ring said. Didn't change recoil lug design until the M series.

Here's an example of the M series bedding, round recoil lug on this auction, compared to an L series which is similar to Mauser design being rectangular.

An A2 is a L579 with no changes other than the new action length numbering system (asked for by the US importer) and a different bolt shroud. It's not a model change and Sako still called them L579 Foresters. The bedding is the same.
