I have a Finnlight 7-08 on order which is a few months away.
Looking into the action bed in the plastic stock, it appears there has been some change in recent years.
If you have a short action Finnlight bought 2018, would you kindly post a few pics of the action and stock inlet side by side?
Also opinions on the Finnlight recoil lug system and bedding improvements will be much appreciated.

This is my Ken Henderson stock, bedded by him, rifle is currently with Kiwi Greg but I can take some more photos when I have it back.

The one I got from Ken was $1050 from memory mine was for a Tikka but I think they are all the same price.

Yeap exact same as mine which is an older one, ken converts them to use a tikka style recoil lug which is a better and simpler setup anyhow. Mine cost $1150 from memory and that included him inletting and bedding the stock, the tikka/rem 700 are a bit cheaper as they use an aluminium bedding block so less work and they can be sold "off the shelf" ready to go. Mine was the first sako 85 Ken did though he may have them ready to go now also im not sure

What is your impression of this bed, any movement or concerns. Interesting how the action also has the slit for the recoil lug like the Tikka T3.
Is the recoil plate solid and bonded into the stock. Does the action side down into the stock and held tight like the T3 or sits cradled only. Is the metal at the back supporting the action also or only the small tang area.
