Here's the latest Sako in my life

270wsm 85, got the the barrel cut back n fluted the bolt, opti's holding a Swaro Z5i 3 -18, was gunna replace the stock with a carbon jobbie but don't really think I'm going to make it really any better as the standard stock ai'nt bad & won't save fuk all weight. She's just over 8.5 lb in the pic

Gotta admire the Leupy 4 -24 x 52, for some reason they found the right recipe on that model ( I've had 2 ) awesome glass, reticle ( tmoa "two thumbs up" ) nice clicks n weight / strength ratio & proper flip lids

OK it's 34mm, but easy to get rings nowadays & their throw lever is rubbish compared to the NF
    That's your one eye phil!

Yup I think this is my third...bit of a problem a.
The Ai didn't work out very well on the killing front for me I think it was bullet choice looking back now.
The upside is my boy absolutely loves shooting it so that's a massive win.

    Top notch mate.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

@Philipo those rubber panels are one of lifes guilty pleasures. Ought to be cr😀p but they feel good, durable with no peel back, worn flat but 100% doing their job after > 10 yr.

I expect that you will love this. Not necessarily keep it, but to love it anyway.
The 270WSM is the best of the Win short magnums. Power to weigh ratio exceeds you on 16" Raleigh
