    sako optilocks size on vx6 3-18x44

    Anyone have a 85 long action with thi scope can advise that low rings will be ok for clearance, bolt and shell ejection?

    Im not much help. Mine is sitting in luepold 30mm rings.
    I would think you will be fine in lows but wouldn't put my lefty on it.

    Vx6 2-12. Rings measure 12.5mm from top of action to bottom of scope tube.
    I think from memory they were a luepy med high. They were perfect with the vx3 4.5-14x50 but could go lower now with the 44?mm vx6

    I can fit a 4mm beer coaster between the tightest point and still have around a mm barrel clearance.
    So you will get away with any ring that measures 8.5mm or more from top of action to bottom of circle.
