I’m keen to find one also. Keen on a 6.5 CM and the PRC correct.
Find me one @buzzman and I’ll find you a paru old Carbonlite that’s not too shabby.

    Still don’t like them

Unless they cause you to sell a Sako to me or you to not need that last bottle of 2208 then I like them

You can’t argue with classic lines.

Local has a secondhand one on the rack I had a feel of it and was quite surprised by how heavy and awkward it felt. Might be an ok toy for steel but I wouldn't call them a hunting rifle

The S20 has a heavier profile than your standard Sako or tikka.
It is actually almost the same profile as the new tikka Veil, with its 5/8-24 thread.
If one gunsmith has the opportunity to take an s20 barrel out, it would be interesting to see if that barrel tenon and head space has the same dimensions has the standard tikka t3 or Sako 85 tenon dimensions. In which case you could swap the original barrel for a lighter one.
Who would like to volunteer? :-)
( of course that long mid weight barrel could easily be chopped down to 18" ... or less ;-)

A mate as the s20 hunter model in 6.5prc, shoots and functions really well with precision hunter ammo. He likes the added weight as doesn't usually have to carry it far and does a bit of LR gong shooting.

Thats the market they were aimed at isn't it?
More of a steel/truck gun than competition for the finnlight.

There is a s20 here in the humping and fisting store in Blenheim ,i pretty certain its a 6.5 Creedmoor . I have held and dont think that much of it .It looks like they used bits of both rifles to make a hybrid one .

All Sakos are over rated and over priced. That's the truth.

Only beaten by Tikka for their better value for money but then they are made in the same factory so I still call that a win for Sako
