    Sako S20 rifle (New)

Work mate, just seen online a new model rifle from Sako, removable stock and built in rail, from what he said,
I had a quick look on phone, and would like to know if it's a switch barrel or just removable stock, too busy now to really have a look.
Any how a new toy, from Sako, for us to look forward to.

I can tell you these are VERY accurate rifles. Iv had the pleasure of setting up and shooting one. Our demo one in .308 will shoot 1/4" groups at 100m with the basic Sako gamehead soft point cartridge. I shit you not.
The bolt head is not removable. Its very much like a 3-lug tikka bolt. The internal aluminium chassis is very nice. The integral Pic rails are very nice. I like that they lengthened the magazines for modern projectiles - that's cool.
    The barrel is not user-removable.

Not a switch barrel, but has the ability to have different style of forends and stocks. Integrated pic rail on top and trigger is adjustable for both length of pull and weight.
It has an alloy chassis and bedding system that makes it incredibly accurate out of the box. I have shot about 40+ rounds through it and was amazed at how it kept grouping. Below is a group i shot yesterday in a hurry with factory Sako ammo.

What is the new internal lenght for the 308 type magazines?
Any faster barrel twists to go with them?

Im not in the vicinity of one to measure at the moment, but there might have been a cm or so space in front of the factory ammo. @mcche171 can probably measure it today. No change in twist rates at this stage, but there is the addition of 6.5prc to the cal lineup.

Oh I see, removable bolt handle .... when I saw the vidoe playing it showed a highlight of the bolt head as they talked about removable bits.
