    Sako Vixen screw size

Would any of you who own Vixen L461's in .222 be kind enough to take a few mins to measure the action screw specs?

I'd like to know the overall shaft length, and how much of that is threaded. If you know the thread pitch, that would be useful too.

    Would be very grateful.

    Cheers,
    AJ

Same thread as Tikka T3 action screws. I used Tikka screws on my one in a cf stock as I needed a bit longer.

    Cheers man, appreciate it.

The custom screw maker only makes Allen screws. If Tikka T3 screws (in torx) fit as per what Mathias says, then I might be best going down that route.

If you do go down that route, get some stainless ones from Gunworks

Be aware that J&P Custom Products charge $39 USD to send two screws to NZ - no exceptions. The 6mm x 1 screw's you're after can be bought elsewhere or made yourself. Any engineering supply business should have them in hex head of various lengths. You can bevel the head and cut to length. The length of the screw section shouldn't make any difference.

Yeah, too dear. I ended up buying a couple Tikka T3 screws from Gunworks. About $20.00.

Service was good. Got them the next day or so.
