    I have an old Savage 23D in 22 Hornet. Be selling it soon as I splashed out on a BRNO. Lucky me! I've been taking hares with the Savage from 75m offhand to 150m with a rest (strainer post). Lovely old rifle originally a few bucks from JC Penny's I believe. Accurate because barrel and action are one piece of steel so not a great proposition for rebarreling. Too many rifles, too few years.
    I know a lot but it seems less every day...
