Thread: Savage .308 barrel replacement question

I may or may not need to replace the barrel on my Savage 10FP-LEA.

It's not shooting how it used to but then again I virtually never clean it, it might just be full of copper. It's just steadily getting worse and won't hold MOA anymore.

Just wondering what a new barrel would be worth, would prob prefer to get another Savage one but will definitly consider a Trueflight, Vulcan etc. It's a heavy profile barrel but not a truck axle. What would it cost to fit?

Does anybody have a bore scope for hire?
