The original Adelaide Aussie who developed the spotlights and scopes, took them both over to one of the USA Shot Shows. He ended up getting the scopes manufactured in the US, but after tax the profits come back to the family owned Australian company.

All owned by one man.
The main reason all military optics are built in the usa is they then become eligible to be used by the us military.
Most of their other scopes are produced in japan under very strict qc using LOW.
Even their big atacr are made there.
