    Which scope

Ok guys, have the new rifle Kimber 270, at the moment I have a swaro 6x42 on it, thinking of changing my scope, it was going to be leopold vx6 , any better ideas, I really want to keep it light.

    VX-3 2.5-8x36mm

Seems to be the scope you see on most Kimbers. Must be pretty good all-rounder, fits well with talley lows and is a nice weight.

    Kahles 3-9 x42. Or above vx3...
I've got some lightweight talley lows to suit you also.

    These threads arr fun !

If you want to goo all out for lightness and compromise on optics poweer parallax lowlight and eurocoolness then look up the leupold ultralight which comes in 3-9x33 which is equivalent to vx-2 and you can get a CDS turret.

my Kimber .260 custom, has a leupold ultralight VX2, 3x9x33 on it, if you are trying to keep weight down, 5lb 2 oz all up.

My kimber is standard but chopped barrel and is 6lb flat with the ultralight 3-9 and suppressor. I didn't notice much difference between it and the vx3 2.5-8x36
