    Scope for a 28 nosler

    Hey guys I'm building a lightish weight 28 nosler eg carbon stock and relatively light tube and I'm tossing up a few different scope options so far they are nightforce 5.5-22x56 or atacr 5-25x56 second focal plane or the new vortex amg 6-24x50, I have had a few nxs before but not the big atacr or vortex so keen to hear first hand opinions experience etc?

    Other suggestions welcome not keen on a vx6 and want atleast 20 power mag

    Cheers,

    7x35 atacr was pretty impressive this weekend .
    it was on a light 28 nosler and still felt balanced and not heavy at all.
    can't go wrong with nf!

    @Kiwi Greg

    Me or Andy? Goal is a lightish rifle as stated so 4-4.5 kg finished weight with a nxs I'm more than happy with... And they hold hands in the universe where I just want something that does what it's supposed to everytime, got another suggestion that's not a vx6?

    I guess 10lbs is lightish, with a scope being around 20% of than figure, it will be interesting to see the final finished weight.

    If you don't want a VX6 then I'm not sure which scope to recommend, the NF are certainly bomb proof, but you pay for it weight wise.

    Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts

    Yeah I've had the vx6's and can't get past the turret feel it works but it's just me and I've had marchs but they're not all they're cracked up to be either that's why that vortex amg interested me being lighter than the nxs..

    That's a pretty busy looking reticle on the Razor AMG, otherwise it has a lot to offer going by your brief and the specs on the Vortex website.
    The 20+ power ATACR is PMII heavy, only 63 grams in it between the AMG and 50mm NXS.
