    Scope for a .338 edge

Going to get a lightish weight edge built at some stage in the near future
And am thinking about optics for it, am about 90 percent it
Will be the nf atacr but have also been eyeing up the kahles k624i
Or a big premier 5-25x56 if anyone has a spare mil version kicking around?
Would love to hear from people that have used or own one or all of these scopes
I know the nf is sfp and the others are FFP but I do love nightforces
    Also open to other suggestions

How light is "lightist" ? I thought about putting an ATAR on my Edge ( 9 3/4 lb with 5-22 x 50 nsx ) but shit I want it lighter not heavier, also thought about putting my VX6 or similar to bring it down to near 9lb but the NSX just suits it & it shoots mint.

Those 624's are nice Gillie has one & works well, you just have to get use to the parallax adjustment being on top, the one they had at the Sika show must of had people fucked, cause when I looked through it she was all over the place focus was wound out etc lol
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!

100 odd grams, more like 250g + ( 1/2 a pound or more in the important old school measure ) by the time ya put some big arse 34mm rings on, but yeah depends on what you want as the end result, my Edge is a hunting rifle first gong gun 2nd, but it does have a farken big bit of steel for a barrel with a big arse brake on it.

Shit any of those 3 will be mint
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!

    The new 50mm March?

I would rather have the mint glass over worrying about the weight difference
No point being light as fuck and not being able to see shit

I had one but sold it to my mate when I got the
Premier lt as I wanted to go mil, priced up the mil
Version and it's a lot dearer than the atacr and kahles
Plus the wait for one is a bit at this stage

What about another Premier or the later Tangent Theta? I'd like to see one in the flesh as they supposedly have some improvement. Will be limited to 15x in the Light Tac equivalent with the larger Heritage maybe not fitting the bill for weight. BRADS has a new Zeiss V8 coming too which looks very nice.

Yeah I had thought about another light tac but then
The 15 power it don't think will be ideal for the edge same
As the mk6 which I had thought of as well yeah Duncan
    Loves his new zeiss

Yeah comes down to what you want from your rifle, is it a "LW tops hunting gun" or a "big arse shoot out'a the truck" gun or a "have to carry the fucker up big hills, but still really reliable when I drop the bugger down a scree slope do everything" gun

Lets be honest, most scopes over 2g are pretty good now days, just depends on what you think is more important- glass quality , weight, dialling repeatability or cool factor !

It's all good having the most amazing glass so you can see shit 2 minutes longer than your mates scope that cost half the price to take a shot and maybe kill it then try and find the fucken thing in the dark ,I now go for reliability , warranty and a good beer.

It's the third you listed cos it's a hunting rig first and foremost
That's why the nightforce atacr heads the list for everything
Apart from the weight however will probably just deal with those
    Couple of hundred more grams
