Nightforce 5.5-22x50 NXS or ATACR, but you don't need the 56mm objective if you go NXS.
I wasn't able to see animals as clearly with Swaro EL 40mm binos as late into darkness as with the 50mm NF so I struggle to justify the extra size over a 50mm myself.
VX6 if you want lightweight and if the 18x mag will be enough for you which it should be for most hunting to +1000m.

I think it will be a nightforce I want more mag than 18x and want zero stop etc how much better is the atacr glass wise anyone? The new enhanced version.

Can't answer how much better the ATACR glass is but I've looked through a couple and it is very nice glass.
My newer NXS is excellent and I've used most makes of top end scopes.
My older NXS is way off pace on glass quality, but the new one is great!

You can see the difference between the NSX and ATACR pretty easily.

Sharper, brighter image plus more time at last light is what I found.

In saying that, I have seen a difference between two Atacr's that was similar.

Was that a ffp vs sfp? I'm curious to know if the new enhanced ones are any better?

Yup I've had a play with one very nice not a huge fan of the elevation turret size but otherwise very cool but not mil

I dont know what the 5-25x56 is like but i had a play with a Steiner Military 3-15x50 a while back and it was all class, really nice to look through and clicks etc felt really nice, solid bit of kit.

Yeah that's their worst feature, left me scratching my head why they made it half an inch higher than needs be & just so bloody big'n'ugly

That is the ugliest abomination ever.
Good glass and dials perfectly though.

But it's like a hooker, just because she has no teeth and will do anything making her perfect for the job, you still want one that looks good.

Bro as you no I spent the week looking at and through S&B scopes and for me that describes then perfectly.
And if the hilux blows a tyre I could use the parallax wheel as a spare it's that big!
