Scope for 7 saum or wsm

Doing a short barreled 20 inch version of one of the two
    For a general purpose rig,
Looking for a dial up scope for this in mils
Must be 30-34 tube good glass and turrets
Thinking nightforce 2.5-10x42 or 4-16x42 new atacr but heavier etc
    Open to suggestions

Already have the 30mm optilocks for it, and every dial up
Scope I've had has been 30mm

Why build a short light rifle and then and put a big heavy scope on it? I've got a Bushnell 6500 2.5-16x42 on mine. It is suppose to be 17oz but is actually 19oz. I wouldn't want any bigger. Options are limited though.

That's why I was looking at the 2.5-10x42 which is between
    19-20 ounces

Leica ERi 2.5-10x42? Mil turrets, locking elevation turret with zero stop. Capped windage turret. Illuminated centre dot.

I have/had one on my 7mmSAUM. Could do you a package deal...
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

How does the NXS and vx6 compare glass wise?

I haven't looked threw any newer nightforce scopes but apparently the glass got a lot better?

The NF is the clearest glass compared to a VX 6, quite noticeable from about 1200yrds onwards.

It's expensive but is really enjoyable to use
