Thread: Scope bubbles

whos good at Trig and can work it out properly for me? , My 338 is roughly 84" above LOS at the highest around 500yds with a 1000yd zero , 5deg would put me roughly 10-11" to the side forgeting spindrift & coriolis so would think 20 odd inches at 1000yds , playing with bubbles i have found that it is rear to have the rifle sitting level on the hill without one , I would rather play it safe and have one and not need it than not have one and blow a good animal because i got it wrong.
